How does MicroNeedling work?

So how does microneedling work exactly? A series of small needle puncture the skin in order to create miniature trauma to the area. This stimulates increased collagen production, which leads to firmer and younger looking skin. It also allows serums to better permeate the skin, leading to healthier skin growth and improved appearance. Microneedling is most commonly done as a face, however it can be done on different parts of the body. The entire process takes about 20 to 30 minutes.

What can expect?

Numbing cream is applied to make the treatment comfortable. The patient can expect some redness immediately after the treatment. However the redness last for a short amount of time. The patient may also experience some swelling in the are of the treatment. Although you can do as little as one treatment, three treatments 30 day apart is recommended. After three treatments, then it is recommended at least one per year to help maintain results.
